Barton House by Novellus Living is seeking to fill 1 position for a detail- oriented Housekeeper to join the team! The Housekeeper is responsible for taking care of the building’s general cleanliness to provide tidy and sanitary amenities to guests and residents.

Summary/Objective:

The Housekeeper is responsible for taking care of the building’s general cleanliness to provide tidy and sanitary amenities to guests and residents.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Performs general cleaning and sanitizing tasks and services throughout assigned property.
Uses cleaning cart to transport cleaning supplies.
Cleans and disinfects bathrooms.
Cleans and disinfects kitchen and dining areas.
Wipes and dusts surfaces in rooms and cleans mirrors.
Vacuums and cleans floors, rugs, furniture, and drapes.
Removes linens, towels, bedspreads, and blankets from resident rooms.
Places and neatly tucks clean sheets and blankets on beds, and replaces pillowcases.
Stocks towels, washcloths, and hand towels in bathrooms.
Ensures trash containers are regularly emptied.
Loads washers and dryers and folds sheets and towels in laundry room as needed.
Notifies maintenance if something is not working properly.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

Detail-oriented and thorough.
Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of residents, tenants, and/or guests.
Good customer service skills when handling resident requests.

Education aND Experience:

High school diploma or GED certificate
At least one year of experience with corporate housekeeping.
Working knowledge of cleaning appliances and their operations and proper use of cleaning agents

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must continually demonstrate ongoing sustained ability to perform these physical demands:

Prolonged periods standing and walking and frequently pulling, pushing, and bending.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds at times
